Durable alternatives for SaaS and startup founders (2026)
Durable is built for service businesses, and its own pages say so. If you sell software, an AI product or a developer tool, look at Framer, Webflow, Lovable and iter0 instead. Framer and Webflow are visual editors for a marketing site that someone changes every week. Lovable builds a site that is part of a web application. iter0 turns your brief into a launch page and can publish one site at its own <name>.iter0.app address. You can also download the HTML. If you want hosting, a customer list and bookings on one bill, stay on Durable.

Which tool fits a SaaS, AI or developer-tool founder?
Work out who will edit the site after launch and what it has to do. Durable fits service businesses, and the last bullet says when to pick it.
- A marketer or designer edits the site every week: Framer or Webflow. Both are visual editors with a CMS and their own hosting.
- The website is part of a web application with sign-ins and data: Lovable. Its pricing FAQ calls it "an AI software engineer, which enables anyone to build for the web".
- You want one launch page built from a brief: iter0. It asks about your buyer, offer and proof, shows three designs and builds the one you pick. iter0 can publish one site at its own <name>.iter0.app address, or you can take the HTML to any host.
- You sell to local customers and want bookings, a customer list and hosting on one bill: Durable.
What Durable is built for, in Durable's own words
The Durable homepage (durable.com) is titled "Durable – AI Business Builder | Launch in minutes" and heads its pitch "The complete AI business builder". Under "Built for your business" it lists six groups: Home Services, Health & Wellness, Professional Services, Food & Events, Pet & Auto, and Creative & Digital. The hero text cycles through coaching, handyman, cleaning, marketing agency, car detailing, landscaping and photography businesses. None of the six groups names software, SaaS or startups.
Durable also describes itself as a service-business tool. Its Framer comparison says Durable "is designed for service businesses that need to generate leads and manage customers effectively". Its list of AI website builders for small businesses names service businesses as the use Durable is best for.
Its CRM and booking tools serve those businesses. The homepage lists CRM, Bookings, Reviews and SEO & GEO, and its FAQ says Durable "is designed as a complete business builder". The pricing FAQ calls Durable a "no code" product and says it does not offer "extensive options for HTML customization". It adds that Durable is "not designed specifically to support e-commerce businesses". Custom code is still possible: the help centre explains an Embed section for one page or section and a Custom Code setting for scripts that run on every page.
The bundle suits a business with local customers: a customer list, calendar bookings, a Google Business Profile and local directory listings. To see whether it fits your product, build one page on the free plan.
When Durable is the better choice
Pick Durable when the business is local and the website is one part of running it. Durable bundles hosting, a CRM and bookings in one subscription. Its Launch plan lists a built-in CRM, "Unlimited booking, synced to your calendar", secure hosting, analytics, and a domain you connect or register free, up to a $20 value. Even the Free plan includes a CRM for up to 10 customers. A coach or a cleaner who wants enquiries, appointments and the website under one login should stay on Durable.
Durable also works when nobody on the team touches code. Its homepage promises "Get online in 30 seconds". If all you need is a hosted brochure site with a contact form, and the site files never have to go anywhere else, it does the job. If you move later, the export answer in the FAQ below shows what you can take.
Framer and Webflow are the better choice when someone edits a marketing site in a visual editor every week, and Lovable is the better choice when the website is part of a web application.
Durable, Framer, Webflow, Lovable and iter0 on the same five points
One row per tool. The source links are at the bottom of the page.
| Tool | Who it is for | Free plan | Paid plans | Getting the site out |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Durable | An AI business builder. The homepage lists six groups: Home Services, Health & Wellness, Professional Services, Food & Events, Pet & Auto, Creative & Digital. | $0. A website preview on a durable.site subdomain, 300 AI credits in total, a CRM for up to 10 customers. | Launch: $22 a month on the Yearly toggle, $25 on Monthly. Grow: $41 on Yearly, $49 on Monthly. | Customer contacts export as CSV. The pricing FAQ calls Durable a "no code" product. Durable's CodeDesign comparison lists code export with a cross for Durable. |
| Framer | Teams building professional, responsive websites from a prompt, brief, blank canvas or early idea. | $0. A Framer domain, 1 GB bandwidth, 500 AI credits to try. A custom domain needs a paid plan. | Basic: $10 a month. Pro: $30 a month. Framer shows these prices with yearly billing selected, and monthly billing costs more. | Framer hosts the published site. CMS content exports as CSV or JSON through plugins. |
| Webflow | Teams that start from a prompt and keep editing in Webflow, which generates a functional site and a foundational design system. | $0 Starter site plan: a webflow.io domain, 2 static pages, 1 GB bandwidth, 50 form submissions. Custom domains start on the Basic site plan. | Basic site plan: $15/mo, billed yearly. Premium: $25/mo, billed yearly. | Code export comes with the paid Workspace plans, from Core at $19/mo billed yearly. Webflow's FAQ says dynamic content exports collection by collection and forms stop working. |
| Lovable | "An AI software engineer, which enables anyone to build for the web" (its pricing FAQ). | $0. 5 lovable.app domains, 5 build credits a day up to 30 a month. Custom domains start on Pro. | Pro: $25 a month on the Monthly toggle, with 100 monthly credits. Business: $50 a month. | Git sync to GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket is on every plan. Code download is on paid plans. Lovable's pricing FAQ says you own your code. |
| iter0 | Tech-startup founders with a product to sell and no marketer. | $0. 3 credits a month, enough for up to 3 page builds. Manual edits are free. The website second opinion works without an account. | Hobby: $5 a month for 15 credits. Pro: $25 a month for 100 credits. A page build is 1 credit and an AI edit is half a credit. | iter0 can publish one site at its own <name>.iter0.app address. You can also download the HTML (a ZIP for multi-page sites) after you sign in, or have iter0 open a pull request in your GitHub repository, which you merge yourself. |
Run your own same-brief test in 30 minutes
Pricing pages cannot tell you which tool writes a better page for your product. Your own brief can. Every tool in the table has a free plan, so the test costs nothing: pick two or three tools and give each ten minutes on the same brief.
- Write one brief of about 150 words: what the product does, who buys it, the offer, the proof you can show and the one action a visitor should take. Paste the same brief into each tool.
- Note the clock time when you start and when you have a first draft you would show someone.
- Read the first screen of each draft with the product name covered. Can a stranger tell who it is for and what to do next?
- Change one headline and one section by hand, then open the page at 390 pixels wide, a common phone width.
- Before you pay, check what leaves with you. Find the export option in each tool, then open anything you download on a computer with no login to that tool.
What Durable costs
Durable's pricing page (durable.com/pricing) lists three plans: Free, Launch and Grow. A toggle offers Monthly and Yearly, with "Save 15%" beside Yearly. Launch is $22 a month on Yearly and $25 on Monthly. Grow is $41 a month on Yearly and $49 on Monthly. Durable's AI website builder page gives Launch as "$22/month (billed annually) or $25/month (billed monthly)".
The Free plan is a website preview with 300 AI credits in total and a CRM for up to 10 customers. The AI website builder page says the free plan builds and shares a private preview on the durable.site subdomain, and that paid plans let you connect or buy a custom domain. The pricing FAQ says custom domains are "free with every Durable subscription". Launch includes a domain you connect or register free, up to a $20 value. Grow adds a $40 domain credit.
If you leave, the pricing FAQ says to get in touch when you cancel so Durable can transfer your custom domain to you. It takes a couple of weeks, and the plan has a minimum subscription time.
If you have seen Starter, Business or Mogul plans quoted for Durable, they are not on the current pricing page, which lists Free, Launch and Grow.
| Plan | Monthly toggle | Yearly toggle | What the page lists |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | Website preview, 300 credits to try Durable's AI, a CRM for up to 10 customers, basic help center support. |
| Launch | $25/m | $22/m | 1000 AI credits a month. Secure hosting, unlimited traffic, custom forms, analytics, conversion optimization and custom code. A built-in CRM. Unlimited booking synced to your calendar. Connect your domain or register one free, up to $20 value. Priority human support. |
| Grow | $49/m | $41/m | Everything in Launch, plus a 1:1 onboarding call, unlimited team members, translation of the whole site, 5000 AI credits a month and a $40 domain credit. |
What iter0 costs
iter0 charges by the page you build (iter0.com/pricing). Free is $0 a month with 3 credits, Hobby is $5 a month with 15 credits and Pro is $25 a month with 100 credits. One credit builds one complete single page and an AI edit costs half a credit, so Free covers up to 3 page builds or up to 6 AI edits. Manual edits, saves and undo are free. AI image generation is charged separately, and iter0 shows the credit cost before the action starts. The free website second opinion on your current site works without an account.
Durable's credits cover AI actions such as blog posts, website changes, keyword research and social posts. iter0's credits count page builds and AI edits, so a credit means something different in each product.
iter0 and Durable side by side
Here is how iter0 compares with Durable. iter0 also has an MCP server, so an AI agent can start a build or an edit once you approve the price, and a public API with an OpenAPI file and bearer API keys.
| Point | Durable | iter0 |
|---|---|---|
| Built for | Service businesses: home services, health and wellness, professional services, food and events, pet and auto, creative and digital. | Tech-startup founders with a product to sell and no marketer. |
| Free plan | A website preview, 300 AI credits in total, a CRM for up to 10 customers. | 3 credits a month, free manual edits, a free website second opinion. |
| Paid plans | Launch $22 or $25 a month, Grow $41 or $49 a month (Yearly or Monthly toggle). | Hobby $5 a month, Pro $25 a month. |
| How the site gets made | Durable's AI website builder makes the site. A CRM, bookings, reviews and SEO & GEO tools sit beside it. | The Launch CEO asks about your buyer, offer and proof. You pick one of three designs. |
| Hosting | Secure hosting comes with the paid plans. The free plan is a website preview on a durable.site subdomain. | iter0 can publish one site at its own <name>.iter0.app address. |
| Getting the site out | Customer contacts export as CSV. Durable's CodeDesign comparison lists code export with a cross for Durable. | An HTML download (a ZIP for multi-page sites) or a pull request in your GitHub repository. |
| Choose it when | A local business wants its site, customer list and bookings together. | A founder wants a launch page built from a brief and plans to publish at <name>.iter0.app or take the HTML elsewhere. |
Put the brief into practice
A launch page should make the buyer, promise, proof, and next action obvious. iter0 uses this same standard when it turns a brief or reference site into a builder-ready page.
