AI website builder comparisons

Which AI website builder fits the job?

Pick Framer or Webflow when a designer or a CMS will run the site, Lovable or v0 when you are building the app itself, and iter0 when the hard part is knowing what your site should say. Each guide has a straight answer, prices we checked this month, and, for four of the builders, what they made from the same brief.

Our test,

Four builders, the same two briefs.

Three of the four gave Tablemate the same cream-and-orange look with three numbered steps. iter0 went with a photo of friends at dinner. For Shiplog, two went dark with a neon accent; iter0 showed the release notes themselves.

Tablemate

“I have an idea for an app called Tablemate that helps groups of friends plan dinners out: everyone adds the nights they're free and what food they like, and it suggests a time and a restaurant that works for everyone. Build a landing page for it.”

Lovable's Tablemate page: cream background, serif headline and a booking card
Lovable. Cream, a serif headline and an invitation card. Asked one design question first.

Shiplog

“Build a website for Shiplog, a B2B SaaS tool that turns merged GitHub pull requests into customer-facing release notes and a changelog page automatically. It's for engineering teams at startups with 10 to 200 people. I want visitors to start a 14-day free trial.”

iter0. A light page with a release-notes mock. The chat says why it leads with the merge-to-notes step.

Lovable. Black and lime, condensed capitals and a scrolling ticker.
Out of credits
Framer. No page: the free workspace had run out of AI credits after Tablemate.
aidesigner's Shiplog page: dark with a mint accent and the headline Ship code. We'll tell the world.
