Page flow

A clear path through the product story

The hero pairs a reading photo with a gift panel for once or monthly giving and a choice of amount. What each amount pays for comes next, then the programme, stories from the reading sessions, the numbers from last year's report, a volunteer sign-up and the community events families can come to.

What it communicates

Why this structure works

The page asks for one thing at a time: a gift first, then time. It shows donors what their money pays for and gives volunteers a short form, so both can act without leaving the page.

How to adapt it

Make it about your business

  1. Replace the hero photo with your own people at work, and set the gift amounts and the once or monthly choice to what you ask for.
  2. Rewrite what each gift pays for with costs you can stand behind.
  3. Use the numbers from your own annual report, and remove any you cannot source.
  4. Connect the gift panel to your donation platform and the volunteer form to an inbox you check.

What to bring

Prepare these before you build

  • Photos of your programme in action, with consent from the people in them
  • Your suggested gift amounts and what each one pays for
  • Figures from your latest annual report
  • What volunteers do, how often, and how you train them
  • Your charity registration number and donation platform

The template sets the visual direction. Your own business details, brand, images and proof supply the content.

Charity Website template questions

What should a charity website include?

Donors want to know what you do, what their gift pays for and whether it makes a difference. This template answers those with a gift panel in the hero, what each amount covers, the programme, impact numbers and a volunteer sign-up. Use figures from your own report and photos you have permission to use.

Can I take donations with this template?

The gift panel lets a visitor choose an amount and once or monthly. To take the money, link the Give button to your donation platform, such as your payment provider or a charity giving service. The builder does not process payments for you.

Does this layout suit a small community group?

Yes. Cut the impact section to the numbers you have, turn the events into your own meetups, and keep the volunteer form short. If you do not take donations yet, change the gift panel into a sign-up for news and updates.
