How to write an AI landing page brief that survives the build
A practical brief connects audience, offer, proof and the next action. Here is what to give an AI builder, what to leave out, and how to check the result.

Describe the decision the visitor needs to make
Start with a person in a situation, not a list of visual adjectives. A dental practice manager deciding whether to book a software demo needs to understand the booking workflow, staff effort and next step. Someone joining a pre-launch waitlist needs a credible reason to leave an email before the product exists. These are different briefs even if both pages use a hero, three cards and a footer.
Separate facts, proposed copy and missing information
Give the builder your actual product name, offer, contact information and destination URLs. Label any draft positioning as a proposal. If you do not have testimonials, say so; the page can explain the product without invented customer quotes. When researching comparable businesses, collect ideas about how they explain an offer, but do not adopt their metrics or customer logos as your proof.
- Facts: product capabilities, approved pricing, real URLs and business details.
- Proof: permitted customer quotes, case studies or demonstrations you can substantiate.
- Unknowns: claims, integrations or policies that still need an answer.
Use the reference to explain design, not identity
Supply a public reference URL and name the qualities that matter: restrained typography, a visible product demonstration, a simple pricing comparison or a clear case-study sequence. Supply your business source separately. A finance product can borrow a useful page rhythm from a software company while retaining its own language, evidence and imagery.
An example brief you can adapt
We sell scheduling software to small dental practices. This page should earn a demo booking from a practice manager who is worried about switching tools. Explain how bookings enter the calendar and how staff manage changes. Use our product screenshots and the two approved customer quotes supplied. Keep pricing out until it is confirmed. The primary action is Book a demo and must point to our actual booking URL. Use the reference for its calm layout, not its company claims.
Check the plan before checking the pixels
Read the proposed sections and ask what each one helps the visitor decide. Put the main promise, proof and next action where they are needed. Remove sections that merely repeat the headline. A section plan should also state which source supplies its facts and which image belongs there. This makes missing material visible while it is still inexpensive to correct.
Review the delivered page against the brief
Open the final page on desktop, then resize that same page to phone width. Check exact product names, real links, long headlines, image crops and the main action. Submit a test form only against the intended test destination. A visual preview alone does not prove email delivery, payment collection or saved data. Export or deploy only after those connections are verified.
AI landing page builder
A launch page should make the buyer, promise, proof, and next action obvious. Iter0 uses this same standard when it turns a brief or reference site into a builder-ready page.
