AI landing page builders for a startup launch: Framer, Unbounce, Carrd, Lovable, v0 and iter0 compared
Pick by who will change the page after launch. Framer suits a designer or marketer. Unbounce suits a team running paid ads that wants to test variants. Carrd is the cheapest way to get a one-page site on your own domain, at $19 a year. Lovable and v0 suit a developer who wants the page in the same code as the product. iter0 asks about your buyer and offer first, then builds a page you can download.

Which AI landing page builder suits a startup?
The page you launch with gets edited more than you expect: a new headline after the first ten sales calls, a pricing change, a waitlist that becomes a sign-up. So choose the builder by the person who will make those edits.
- A designer or marketer will edit it on a canvas: Framer, from $10 a month on yearly billing.
- You'll run paid ads and want to test page variants: Unbounce, from $22 a month billed annually, with AI traffic routing on its Optimize plan.
- You need one page on your own domain for as little as possible: Carrd Pro Standard at $19 a year. It has no AI generation.
- A developer will keep the page in the product's code: v0, which builds a Next.js project, or Lovable, which builds a full app with sign-in and a database.
- You haven't settled who the page is for or what it offers: iter0, which asks about your buyer, offer and proof before it builds, and lets you download the HTML.
Six builders at a glance
One row per tool. Prices are in US dollars from each vendor's own pricing page, linked at the bottom.
| Tool | Who edits it | What the AI does | Free plan | Entry price | Take the page with you |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Framer | A designer or marketer on a visual canvas. Each extra editor is $20 a month. | Generates sections and pages on the canvas | A Framer domain, 1 GB bandwidth, 500 AI credits to try | Basic: $10/mo yearly, 30 pages | Framer's help centre says the published site is HTML, CSS and JavaScript you can download |
| Unbounce | A marketer in a page editor | AI copywriting on every plan, AI traffic routing on Optimize | No. 14-day trial without a card, no custom domain during the trial. | Starter: $22/mo billed annually, $29 monthly, 5 pages, up to 500 visitors | Not stated on its pricing page |
| Carrd | You, in a one-page editor | None listed on its Pro page | Yes, a free account | Pro Lite: $9 a year for 3 sites. Pro Standard: $19 a year with your own domain and forms. | Pro Plus ($49 a year) lists Download Sites |
| Lovable | You, by chat. Paid plans add a code editor. | Builds a full web app: frontend, backend, database and sign-in | 5 build credits a day, up to 30 a month | Pro: $25/mo for 100 credits, or $250 a year | GitHub sync on every plan, code download from Pro |
| v0 | You or a developer, by chat or in its code editor | Builds a Next.js project with React, Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui | 7 messages a day and a one-time $5 credit for new users | Plus: $30 per user a month, with $30 of credits | Code export, and two-way sync with GitHub |
| iter0 | You, by chat with Launch CEO, or by manual edits | Asks about buyer, offer and proof, offers three designs, then builds the page | 3 credits a month, up to 3 page builds | Hobby: $5/mo for 15 credits | HTML download, a ZIP for multi-page sites, or a pull request in your GitHub repo |
What the first year costs
We took the cheapest plan on each tool that lets the page run on your own domain, and used yearly billing where the vendor offers it. Framer's yearly plans include a domain. For the others, add the price of a domain.
iter0 and v0 are different. iter0 Hobby pays for the builder: you host the downloaded HTML on any static host and point your domain there. v0 deploys to Vercel, which has its own plans.
| Tool and plan | How it's billed | First 12 months | What to watch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Carrd Pro Standard | $19 a year | $19 | Up to 10 sites. No AI generation. |
| iter0 Hobby | $5 a month | $60 for the builder | Hosting and domain are yours to add |
| Framer Basic | $10 a month, billed yearly | $120 | 30 pages. Each extra editor is $20 a month. |
| Lovable Pro | $250 a year | $250 | Credits run down with each change |
| Unbounce Starter | $22 a month, billed annually | $264 | 5 pages and up to 500 visitors. Its FAQ lists hosting from Build, so check Starter before you buy. |
| v0 Plus | $30 per user a month | $360 for one person | Credits run down with each generation. Hosting is on Vercel. |
Framer: for a page a designer keeps changing
Framer is a visual canvas with AI that generates sections and pages. Basic is $10 a month on yearly billing for 30 pages and 1000 AI credits a month, and Pro is $30 a month and can add A/B testing as a paid add-on, $50 per 500,000 events. The yearly plans include a domain. Each extra editor costs $20 a month, and viewers are free.
Framer hosts the site with a CMS and SEO controls. Its help centre says every published site is HTML, CSS, JavaScript and static assets you can download and host anywhere, which matters if you outgrow it. Choose Framer when someone on the team cares about the look and will open the editor every week.
Unbounce: for a page you test with paid traffic
Unbounce is built for pages that receive ad traffic. Every plan includes AI copywriting and unlimited conversions. Its plans are priced by visitors: Starter is $22 a month billed annually for 5 pages and up to 500 visitors, Build is $74 a month for unlimited pages and up to 20,000 visitors, and Optimize is $187 a month for up to 50,000 visitors and adds AI traffic routing across page variants.
The 14-day trial needs no card, but it can't publish to your own domain. Unbounce's pricing page lists hosting on Starter while its FAQ lists hosting from Build, so check before you buy Starter. We found no code export on the pricing page. If you'll spend on ads and want to know which version of the page converts, this is the tool built for it.
Carrd: for one page at the lowest price
Carrd builds simple one-page sites. Pro Lite is $9 a year for 3 sites. Pro Standard is $19 a year for 10 sites, your own domain and forms. Pro Plus is $49 a year for 25 sites, advanced forms and the option to download your sites. Its Pro page lists no AI generation, so you write the copy and arrange the blocks yourself.
For a founder testing an idea with a waitlist, $19 for the year is the lowest price on this page. It gets awkward once the page needs several sections that change every week, because each change is manual.
Lovable and v0: when the page lives in the product's code
Lovable and v0 build code, not a hosted marketing site. Lovable builds a full web app with a frontend, a backend, a database and sign-in. Free gives 5 build credits a day up to 30 a month. Pro is $25 a month for 100 credits, and GitHub sync is on every plan. v0 builds a Next.js project with React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui and deploys it to Vercel. Free gives 7 messages a day, and Plus is $30 per user a month.
Both suit a technical founder who wants the launch page in the same repository as the product. Every copy change then goes through a developer, which slows the edits a launch page needs most.
iter0: for a page built from your offer
iter0 is our product, so weigh this section with that in mind. It builds a launch site for what you built in Lovable, Bolt or v0, from a brief. It's for software founders who need one launch page and don't have a marketer. You chat with Launch CEO, which asks about your buyer, offer and proof. You pick one of three designs and iter0 builds the page. Free is $0 with 3 credits a month, Hobby is $5 a month for 15 credits and Pro is $25 a month for 100. A page build is 1 credit, an AI edit is half a credit and manual edits are free.
You can publish at <name>.iter0.app, download the HTML, or have iter0 open a pull request in your GitHub repo. If you want to test page variants against ad traffic, Unbounce is built for that. If a designer wants a canvas to work on, pick Framer.
How we checked
Every price and feature comes from the vendor's own pricing page or help centre, linked below. We didn't use review sites for prices, and we didn't build the same page in each tool, so this compares what the vendors publish rather than the quality of their output. The date at the top of the page is when we last checked the sources.
Prices change a few times a year. Open the vendor's pricing link before you pay.
Put the brief into practice
A launch page should make the buyer, promise, proof, and next action obvious. iter0 uses this same standard when it turns a brief or reference site into a builder-ready page.
